Every once in awhile I need a reminder how important breathing is. And uninterrupted sleep. I have been fortunate that most of the illnesses I get never go to my lungs. This time it did and it totally sucks. Up all night. Mouth and throat feel burned from the stuff coming up. Pulled something in my side from all the coughing, so now even taking shallow breaths hurts. And the reoccuring fevers every night drain me. And the worse part is I have to follow up with the doctor-I really really hate going to doctors.

BUT I am very thankful. I do get stuff like this so rarely. There are many people in the world who have to suffer with lung illnesses constantly, and never have an easy time taking the breaths I take for granted every day. So if it takes getting something like this every once in awhile to remind me to be thankful for my general good health, okay. No problem.
